Renewing America's Purpose and Promise

Dear Friend,

We Americans—unlike citizens of other countries—need teachers to teach us what it means to be an American. We need to be reminded that this country was founded on the principles of liberty and right, on a solemn declaration that we ordinary human beings are capable of governing ourselves.

Our work at the Ashbrook Center revolves around these things—whether we are teaching undergraduates or high school teachers. We remind our students of the principles for which we stand, and we spend a good deal of time studying the Constitutional soul of the nation.

If you believe as I do, that students need to be educated in the principles of America, then I ask you to please show your support by giving a tax deductible gift. We need your help to renew America's purpose and promise. I hope we can count on your support.

With warm regards,

Peter W. Schramm
Executive Director
Ashbrook Center
